Wags and Waves

Sept 9th 10-4 Hawaiian Falls Waterparks Garland

I always say that Wags and Waves is my favorite event and I am sure this year will be the best year ever!

Please look for me! If I am not in my booth I will be running around in my blue LOVE RESCUE shirt with the big camera! Say “Hi” and I’ll make sure I get photos of your pup having the best day ever!

If you have found your way here after the event feel free to send me a message and I will email you as soon as the photos are ready. Or you can check my events gallery to the right here and if it’s ready it will be the first gallery.

Thanks for coming out supporting all the wonderful animal welfare-organizations working so hard to make this a grand event!

Holiday Photos

The weather has cooled off and the leaves are changing colors which means it's time to get your holiday photos done!

There are so many beautiful locations around DFW that are all slowly changing from green to red. It really makes this time of year magical!

My schedule always gets a little crowded this time of year so call as soon as you can and we can find a spot for you!

Feel free to take a look through some past client galleries to find a location that makes you smile!

About Me

Meet the pack

Hi i’m Shagly

Welcome to my slice of the pet world. My name is Mark Nardecchia—commercial photographer, advocate, and founder of Shagly.

My mission is simple: to prove that every animal, regardless of origin, possesses a "Pedigree of Personality."

From the high-altitude air of the Andes to the neon streets of Tokyo, I’ve traveled the globe to capture the souls of shelter pets waiting to be seen. Since I began this journey in 2008, I have reached a career milestone that drives me every day: I have photographed one adoptable pet for every single day I have been alive.

My work is built on the belief that a professional portrait is the bridge between a "Lost" dog and a "Found" family. By applying the same high-end techniques used in my commercial shoots to help market adoptable pets, I’m working to change the way the world views the "un-pedigreed"—one shutter click at a time.

Dogs’ lives are too short. Their only fault, really. ~Agnes Sligh Turnbull
