When it doesn’t rain the Turtle Creek pet parade at Lee Park is one of the best events in town! This year was was about 50% amazing with a wonderful turn out great costumes and really nice weather all the way up until it started to rain. Booooo!
I love that this is such a rescue heavy event. They do a great job of featuring rescue dogs and really promoting the idea of dog rescue. I love that it gives me a chance to catch up with some of my favorite rescues like the Metroplex Animal Coalition!
You wouldn’t believe some of the animals I ran into out on leashes were 2 ferrets and at least one bunny. If you would you like to see the rest of the photos from this event they can be found in the Shagly pet photography event galleries.
