Pugspalooza – DFW Pug Rescue

I love all of the DFW Pug Rescue events because they are always very well organized, and as you all know by now, I LOVE pugs!

Unfortunately for me, this year’s Pugapalooza was scheduled very closely to the Easter Begg Hunt. I had to duck out of the Easter Begg Hunt a little early in order to arrive at Pugapalooza just a little late. That meant that Kingston was not able to defend his title as best kisser for the third year.  We walked up just as they were announcing the winner. Oh well, we’ll keep practicing our kissing and come back next year stronger than ever!

Every DFW Pug Rescue event comes with a fantastic silent auction. This year’s event was no different. This year there was an added yummy surprise…a bake sale! Who doesn’t love pug themed cookies and cakes!

It was a beautiful spring Texas day, which was a little too hot for the pugs. We were disappointed that we didn’t get to play in the dog park next to the event at Tipps Canine Hollow in North Richland Hills for the afternoon.

The rest of the photos from Pugapalooza can be found in the Shagly pet photography events gallery.
